My only criticism was that on the sign it said dog friendly, butbyou could not bring the dog inside, even in the bar, which was disappointing ”

“ Never visited Friels before. Stopped off for some food which was excellent, probably the best garlic bread we've ever eaten!. Had the roast dinner which was very nice although the ham was a little tasteless. My wife has the salmon which was cooked to perfection. Prompt and friendly service. Good portions and good value. Lovely interior ambience with a real fire too! Will definitely visit again when in the area. ”
